Description: The dream of icelandic whisky has been shared by many, and yet accomplished by few. The Þoran project is an effort to punch through the first wall, start production of icelandic whisky and encourage other entreprenurial individuals to fulfill their own dream and vision of icelandic whisky. In august this year, they will be making the option of pre-ordering an entire cask of Þoran whisky available to the public. This gives you, the whisky enthusiast, a chance to partake in establishing a new industry in Iceland. The whisky will take a few years to mature, but while you wait they encourage you to come visit your cask, observe that maturation process, sit down with the people of Þoran and enjoy the many riches Iceland has to offer.
